Turn ideas into market-leading products with ITC Infotech's
mechanical, electrical, & structural proficiency
Product Concept and Design
Our engineers ideate and create multiple concepts to meet product specifications. Trade-off studies and other techniques are used to down select the concept. This is a critical stage where close to 70% of the product cost is determined. We have fine-tuned an iterative approach that achieves optimal outcomes without compromising the quality of the design while meeting schedules. In the detailed design phase, our engineers take charge of everything, from design to completion along with the definition of assemblies/sub-assemblies, geometry, materials, tolerances, and components considering the manufacturing processes. The output is typically a fully completed 3D definition, Model-Based Definition (MBD), and 2D Drawings that can be used for manufacture.
Our engineers create models to simulate components and assemblies. The models allow us to assess and optimize product design attributes and performance in addition to iteratively improving the design. To achieve the most reliable outcomes, we combine our rich experience in performing structural, thermal, fluid dynamics, kinematics, and multi-body dynamics simulations with tools like Ansys, Nastran, Abacus, Hyperworks in addition to using the analytical tools available on CAD platforms like CATIA and CREO.
Product documentation is an integral part of a product launch. We specialize in creating high quality, customer-friendly documentation using our understanding of content creation and publishing tools. Our team starts with the inputs, analyses the requirement, authors the content with necessary illustrations, and, based on release cycles, publishes the content. The content is created in multiple formats for diverse devices and leverages AR/ VR technologies to meet various industry standards and requirements. This content efficiently guides end users for the use and maintenance of the product.
Engineering Change Management
Great engineering teams focus their time, energy, and resources in designing and launching new products and features that give the organization a competitive edge. But sustaining and managing changes for a portfolio of products also has an enormous bearing on customer satisfaction and brand image. Unfortunately, managing change can take away critical bandwidth from the engineering team. ITC Infotech’s unique ‘Engineering Change as a Service’ is the solution. Our distributed teams of specialists, located in our India centers, manage the complete value chain, starting with assessment, implementation, and release of product changes/ upgrades, in a cost-effective manner based on successful change implementation.
Software Tools for Automating Engineering Processes
Decades of product development, support and evolution has helped organizations create vast amounts of best practices. However, only a few have managed to incorporate their best practices in product development processes and tools. In most organizations, these exist only as documents. ITC Infotech has solutions that bring these practices and learnings into engineering tools and enables product development teams to leverage them through the CAD/ CAE tools. Our software solutions customize and connect CAD/ CAE tools to build these best practices natively. Customers using our service can compress development time and reduce development effort.
